Great location and space.

Our families have stayed the last 3 years at Quadkin for a week in July, but liked it so much we've also enjoyed a long holiday weekend there a time or two! It comfortably fit 11 of us, allowing space for each of us to individually do our own thing, while also providing large enough areas for us to enjoy time all together. Many great decks for relaxing in the sun or breeze, eating, swimming, fishing or napping. Kitchen has all you need

We rented this property for a week this summer for a family vacation - everybody from the grandkids to the grandparents had a good time. There was great fishing right off the dock, and convenient docking for boats. The location was a short boat ride to the nearby town - which made a good outing. The outside decks provided great views of the St. Lawrence - with wonderful sunsets - although the bugs start to come out after dark. The inside was a bit cramped - mostly due to the large amount of personal items belonging to the owners, with extensive family memorabilia, and limited kitchen storage for food stuffs. They also have a moderate carpenter ant problem. The inside was very clean when we arrived, and the beds were comfortable. The owners did request every item be placed back where it originated when we left - this was a little difficult to recall where everything belonged due to the large quantity of stuff. Overall we had a good vacation, and the safety deposit was returned promptly.
