The property is well taken care of, cozy, and has a beautiful view! The neighbors were wonderful and welcoming as well! It is also filled with wonderful history of the family cottage. Very family friendly! We very much so enjoyed our stay!

We spent the weekend with friends and family. This house has everything you need! Plenty of room and every amenity that you could think of. Gas grill, air conditioning, wi-fi, etc. The wrap around screened in porch was a huge bonus. This house sits right on the lake with a pier to use. The sandy frontage is perfect for small kids to splash around. The large mature trees provided shade to relax in. A fire pit to sit around in the evening while looking out over the lake with the moon and stars. This is THE place to take that vacation to get away from it all with the north woods charm. The house is nostalgic but has been updated without losing its ambience. When you picture a house on a lake in the woods that was built 100 years ago, this is exactly that house; and it has been kept up. Wood walls and floors. The smell of pine. That squeaky floorboard that gives the house some character. This is that vacation that everyone remembers as kids. The owner was very responsive and the neighbors are very friendly as well. I have stayed on Shawano lake for over 25 years and this is by far the best place I have stayed at. I would recommend it in a heartbeat and we are looking forward to visiting again.
