Our family had a wonderful time in LaJolla and staying at the Woodhouse made it more special. The house is so different, beautifully maintained, and very spacious for our family of 10. The unique design allowed our two families and with grandchildren to have their own space and lots of privacy for us. David is a wonderful host, with attention to detail. Don't bring any beach furniture and accessories as there is lots of furniture, boogie boards etc available. The kitchen is very well stocked with spices etc. The two patios provide extra outdoor space and a lovely area for a nice dinner. The kids loved the hot tub and we all loved the fabulous view of the Pacific Ocean. Spectacular was the view from the upper deck. Just a short 10 minute walk to the beach, this home enhanced our wonderful family vacation.

Our group of 6 enjoyed 4 days of beach walks, La Jolla village shopping and beachside lunches. The central location is wonderful. David, the owner, was responsive and helpful when needed.

our family of seven adults thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay in this unique mid-century modern home! the views of the ocean from the home and especially from the upper terrace for sun bathing and viewing sunsets are especially delightful! living in an all wood home, walls, floor and ceiling was fascinating , with no exposure to painted surfaces especially appealed to us as my husband was an architect who studied wit Mies van der Rohe. A fine family oriented home as well as a lovely large patio and hot tub. short walks to beach and town for shopping and restaurants!

we had a wonderful time in this historical house. Everything was clean and well provided. David was great to deal with. One sunny day we had extra family members join us and were able to have lunch outside on the back patio. It was a good visit for all of us. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful landscaping. Thanks, David.

We enjoyed nice walks to the Cove and The Shores as the home was right in between. Fortunately we had plenty of room for our family of 10. Would definitely rent it again with a large group.

The entire home was just beautiful. From the exterior, interior and all the detail. Our stay there was as if we were at our own home complete with everything we needed. Beds and sheets were clean to detail and of quality. Very spacious and regardless of age, everyone had something to do to entertain oneself. Owner is very welcoming, warm and helpful. Even their cleaning ladies were great! My family will definitely come back.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this historical property. The home is spacious with every accommodation one can think of. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with appliances and gadgets and the patio/backyard beautifully landscaped. Our host could not have been more attentive. He gave us a welcoming introduction to the home and showed us how everything worked which was so helpful. There was an internet problem which he responded to immediately. Somehow he got the internet company to come out right away and it was fixed in a couple of hours. The location of this property is spectacular. We were in walking distance to the beach, to the community of LaJolla shores (lots of good restaurants) and the sea walk into LaJolla. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

David was a perfect host and we loved his mid-century home. Great upgrades and location. (The Cove Path right across the street). Beautiful Grounds and attention to detail. We had fun with the ping pong table in the carport. Lot's of great spots to eat a mile away up on Prospect Ave so you don't have to go fight the SoCal Traffic. We had a great time and we'll be back.
