Reached by private road, this year-round lake cottage is set back on a secluded 150 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline. Your lakefront hideaway, nestled in the pines, is a front-row, sea-level seat to the lake’s temperaments and sounds. Winter, spring, summer, and autumn are all great times to enjoy the Cottage, each season offering a different perspective of the lake and the surrounding area. Low off-season rates are offered.

This versatile vacation home boasts bay-windows overlooking grand Lake Michigan in the living area and the master bedroom, and two large, newly installed dormer windows with a stunning view of the lake in the upstairs. Fireplaces in the master bedroom and the living room make this a glowing and warm getaway for winter and the miles of beach make it ideal for summer outings! Central air ensures your comfort whatever the summer weather.

A comfortable king-size bed resides in the master bedroom and a large vanity area houses closets and mirrors. The spacious living area not only offers the amenities of lakeside living, but the amenities of technology as well. A large flat-screen HDTV with cable as well as 20mbsp internet connection is available; Wifi is accessible throughout the house and all the way to the beach.

A fully-equipped kitchenette is host to a solarium dining area to its south. A beach-view patio with grill area offers a fantastic view of the lake – from stunning sunrises to tranquil evenings.

The surrounding area hosts an abundance of activities, seasonal and year-round, including five-star golf facilities, a water park, numerous restaurants, John Michael Kohler Art Center, theater, shopping, Farmers’ Market and so much more. A list of these activities and their pertinent information is located in the living room at the Cottage.

Being here was just what we expected. After a disappointing trip to Florida due to the red tide,we were not able to enjoy the beach there. This totally made up for it. The sounds of the waves and the sunrise each morning was lovely. A welcoming bottle of wine along with a nice beach fire just made everything better. This property is right on the lake and, unlike many other lakefront properties, it does not have thousands of stairs that you have to climb to get down to the water. This made it ideal for a family vacation. Highly recommend this home!

We were lulled to sleep by the crashing waves all weekend. It's a great place...older, rustic, even had the cabin, musty smell, which you totally lose track of after a minute. Just don't expect a modern place - the pictures are accurate. Louise was a great communicator and the place has everything you need - she even had a charger for a Pixel phone, which I needed as I left mine at home. You can just relax and enjoy. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
