The house is amazing, everything you could ever possibly want! But is not just that. Dealing with the owner makes this property. It's no stress quick and easy. Bill know what people want. The house is easy access to all the sites and stores, yet you feel like your on and island. This is our new yearly place. Thank you for everything.

The home is as nice as it was described. The owner is great to work with, he is very responsive to emails. The home has very nice furniture, linens and is overall very clean. The pool was so nice that it was hard to get everyone to leave it to go to the beach. Great location close to the grocery stores, and the beach. We had six couples in the house and it never felt crowded. It was fun to see the iguanas everyday come by the pool. We used the outdoor kitchen a lot. We all had a great week.

Our family could not be more pleased! This place is awesome. Everything we needed for a fun, relaxing week was in this home. The house is luxurious and convenient to everything. We will definitely be making this home a "HomeAway" when we come back to Marathon.

Let me start by saying this home is very clean and the amenities are fantastic . We took our family vacation during mini lobster season, we had a total of 4 families and there was plenty of room to move around and not feel to crowded. We also brought our 30ft boat and there was plenty of room to moor on his private dock and the marina/boat dock is just around the corner. Access to the open water is very easy to get to and sombrero beach is just at the road.. so very convenient to visit by vehicle. The kids of course loved the pool, my son-in-law and grand daughter enjoyed the 2 kayaks that he allows you to used , there are also 2 paddle boards you can venture out on. We spent a lot of time at the outdoor kitchen and bar. Convenient shopping and great restaurants are very close to this home. To visit the Key deer is just a short drive to Pine Key and it's a must the kids loved seeing and petting them. The living room area is kinda small but it wasn't a problem because we spent most our time outside enjoying the pool, fishing and lobstering. The down stairs apartment makes it awesome for the family that may need more privacy , your in the same home but at the same time have your own space fully equipped with washer and dryer, dishwasher and fridge. Bill is very easy to get ahold of and responds quickly. I would highly recommend this home. We had zero issues with this rental, with the exception of the downstairs apartment air condition not really keeping up during the day , it stayed about 76-77 during the day but would cool off to 73 at night. But we just figured that it was the hottest part of the summer. It wasn't bad enough to complain about .. and in no way inconvenienced us or ruined our trip .. Hope this helps anyone looking to use this home. Trust me .. you won't be disappointed .

My family and I just stayed at this beautiful home two weeks ago. All of us loved the home and everything there was to do in the surrounding area. If this were my home, I don’t think I could rent it out to anyone EVER, but thank god for the family that does own it and let’s others stay there for vacation. This house is stunning, from the custom kitchens and bathrooms to the pool and bar area outside. My family fished on the dock out back every morning, swam in the pool every day and ate dinner at the outside dining area almost every night. We will be going back ASAP!! I don't even know where to start my review as there are so many fabulous things to say about this house. The pictures do not do it justice, it's gorgeous, super clean and is fully stocked with everything you need for your stay. My extended family of 7 spent a week here and after staying in different homes each year in Marathon we have found our perfect rental for years to come. Most of our time was spent outside, we only used the inside kitchens to make coffee in the morning. Any meals we had at home were outside at the bar or the large dining table. Sunday football at the bar was a blast! The pool was perfect for a group, large enough for all of us to float around on tubes and rafts and having a pool side bathroom was an added bonus. We enjoyed visits from manatees at the dock more than once and it was great to have the paddle boards and kayaks right there for our use. All of the beds and linens were 5 star hotel quality, so comfy! The bathrooms were fantastic as well. The downstairs in-law suite is perfect for someone that has trouble with stairs or for anyone needing extra privacy. As hard as it is to leave the house when you do you can't beat the location. Publix & K-Mart are just up the road along with many restaurants a short dive away. Sombrero Beach is a 5 minute or less drive from the house. The house was just like the pictures. The lay out is so nice for a large family it was big enough that we were not on top of each other. The mother in law apartment was perfect for the baby to take naps and not be far away. We stayed with 3 different families and everything we needed was there. The pool and bar area with the fence around it was perfect to be able to relax and keep track of the kids. And with the pool, dock, paddle boards and kayaks no one was every board including the grown ups. The grocery store was right up the road with no way to get lost. We had a great time and the house and accommodations really helped it be stress free even with 8 kids

Wow! This house was exactly what it said it would be! The home was extremely clean, and well appointed. The linens and beds very comfortable, and with three floors it allowed out family of 7 adults and one toddler plenty of space to spread out, and find "alone" time if needed. The outside commercial kitchen was were we cooked every night - as Oregonians coming off 9 months of winter it was so nice to spend as much time outside as we could. We had a power boat for the week of our stay and the dock space was more than ample, and extremely well maintained - they even have a small launch pad next to main dock for going out on the supplied kayaks and SUPs. The pool was a great size, and held all seven adults very comfortably. The location of the house was perfect - off the main road so it was quiet, and only about one mile away from Sombrero Beach. Grocery store was a short 2 mile drive. Bill was super responsive, and provided great recommendations on where to rent a boat. I would highly recommend this property to my friends and family, and would definitely stay here again if I make it back to Marathon Key! We rented this house for our stay in Marathon ( week of July 13,2019 for 1 week. ) The check in time was a little later than other houses we have rented before but an easy process (4pm). The house was as pictured, very clean and beautifully decorated. My favorite part was how the outside area was complete with pool, bar, refrigerator, grill, microwave, cabana bathroom and shower! It was a very nice place to hang out after a long day of fishing! Lots of cabana loungers and a big outdoor dining room table to have a nice lunch or dinner. The downstairs in-laws quarters also was nice with its own kitchen and living space. We also enjoyed having tournaments at the pool table. If I had a complaint it would be that it was a bit far to gas the boat and the bugs were heavy due to the canal behind the house. The house air conditioner works fantastic as the hurricane glass throughout the house keeps the house nice and cool.( first house we have ever rented that we had no complaints about the air conditioning) The proximity to the grocery store was great (Publix is right up the street) and many nearby restaurants. A great experience!!

I second John m review. My husband and I shared the mother in law suite with another couple. The set up was great (especially the kitchen/laundry)and so convenient to the outdoor Kitchen where we all enjoyed starting our day with coffee and breakfast. Loved it!
